We were so lucky to learn about Zimmermann Farm when we were searching for a wedding venue. My husband and I got married on September 10, 2022 and it truly was the most magical day. Zimmermann Farm is a DREAM venue for any couple hoping to have a unique wedding experience.
We were able to get ready in the house with our very large bridal parties. The rooms and decor throughout the house, so full of history, provided many different beautiful backdrops for photos, not to mention the dreamiest lighting in the afternoon when we were taking them. Our ceremony took place under one of the incredible weeping birch trees on the property and it felt like getting married in an enchanted forest. We were lucky to have amazing weather on our wedding day and we hosted our dinner reception on one long table for 160 guests lining the tree-lined driveway, an experience that felt like the most epic dinner party and one that our guests still rave about how wonderful and unique it felt! We also hosted our rehearsal dinner on the property the evening before our wedding and the food exceeded any expectations we had from our pizza party rehearsal to the cocktail hour and reception.
Our wedding day would not have been possible without Jenni, Christine, and George and the many talents they bring as individuals and as the MZH Hospitality team behind Zimmermann Farm events. They are incredible humans AND hospitality industry pros! They worked with us to figure out the logistics of any idea we had leading up to the wedding day and delivered an overall experience that was so warm, special, and with a level of such thoughtful hospitality that I am certain you don't find at many wedding and event venues. They shared some of their long-term projects and visions for the property and it will surely only get better in the years to come! Their care and understanding for this special, historic property cannot be denied and they brought that same care and understanding in helping us plan our wedding day.
The minute we set foot on the property to see Zimmermann Farm for the first time we knew it was the perfect venue for us and our wedding but the whole experience exceeded our dreams and expectations far and beyond. We would absolutely recommend Zimmermann Farm and MZH Hospitality as a wedding venue and hospitality team! The house and vast property are both incredible and offer so many options to make your wedding day special and unique. We cannot thank Jenni, Christine, and George enough and of course Marie Zimmermann for leaving such a beautiful legacy in her property. We are so grateful we were able to host one of the most special days of our lives at Zimmermann Farm.

My husband and I got married at Zimmermann Farm on 10/3/2021, and to put it simply: it was better than either of us had imagined.
The venue itself is a dream.
We were able to use the Zimmermann house for the whole wedding party to get ready in — separate areas for the bride and bridesmaids and the groom and groomsmen. Lots of natural lighting, beautifully decorated, and cozy!
We had the whole wedding outside, which worked out perfectly. We had to rent a restroom trailer, tents, some lighting for the tents, and a dance floor, but all other furnishings were included. The flow of activities was great, we were able to keep everything in one huge area, but maintain distinct spaces for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, dancing, etc.
And the fire pit. Y’all. 🥺 See my pictures. It was the perfect addition to the night, the center of everything but not overwhelming. The venue coordinators lit the fire before the ceremony started and kept it going all night!
MZH Hospitality, the company who owns the farm, were incredible to work with from start to finish.They were flexible with us, willing to offer ideas and also totally willing to hear and work with our ideas, too.
Bonus: With an event at Zimmermann Farm, you’re supporting the National Park Service, a historic landmark, and a legacy of one incredible woman. 🙌🏻

Back in September we hosted the wedding anniversary of the sweetest couple Tom & Sue. Their wedding in the woods took place 50 years ago not far from Zimmermann Farm. There were lots of stories, laughs and old photos shared. Our favorite throwback was their original wedding outfits displayed on the fireplace. Here’s what they had to say… “Our fiftieth anniversary brunch, a gift from our sons, was absolutely perfect! From the food and drink, great wine choice, and especially the service, everything was excellent. Somehow, Jenni even managed to provide great weather!”
